Tea and walking

I love my course. I really do. I don't always understand why we do the things we do, but I tend to just go with the flow.  Also I'm a bit of a tea addict, so being asked to go explore cafes  on a Monday morning as part of our coursework agrees with me.

Our first visit however was rather unpleasant. We ended up in Mortons on Byres Road after an epic journey to find somewhere selling bacon/sausage rolls to satisfy the carnivorous members of our party. We ended up not getting a table and having to sit in the window in the shiny sunlight, this however was not as pleasant as it sounds. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy a bit of sunlight, but it was just too bright for my sensitive nordic eyes after a longer period of time.

Having made our escape from Mortons we proceeded to one of my favorite places in the world: Tchai Ovna. I enjoy the fact that what I ate was all organic, fair trade, vegan, without additives and preservatives etc. (the list goes on.) The atmosphere is also one of a kind, dark and chilled, just the way I like it.  It's one of those rare places where you don't feel restless, and you just want to sink into a chair and appreciate the fact that none of the tea cups match up.
